Poetic Prince - Where poetry and art meet... Based on the writings of Stuart Lovett
Stuart Lovett was born November 22, 1958 in the New Haven, Connecticut area.  As an athlete and martial
artist for most of his life, and with strong interests in religion, philosophy and metaphysics Stuart attended
Eastern Connecticut State College and later served in the U.S. Navy. In the early to mid 80's, Stuart studied
the sacred healing art and spiritual discipline of Attunement through classes offered by the Emissaries of
Divine Light.  In the mid 90's, Stuart also became a graduate of Lifespring - LP162 NY.

After military service Stuart provided services as a professional bodyguard, and in the
field of alternative healthcare as a practitioner and teacher.

Poetry writing first began as a hobby for Stuart, but did not occupy his professional world
until 2001. Now, Stuart's professional diversified vocations include inspirational writing
and poetry, teaching and developing alternative healing modalities, and ministry work.

Stuart's poetry has gained the praises of the U.S. Government, and America as a whole
with his unique works. Letters and testimonials of praise and gratitude from distinguished
individuals include, President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, and Speaker
J. Dennis Hastert to name a few.

One of Stuart's acclaimed poetic creations entitled, "Invitation" was written for President
George W. Bush during his first Inaugural Speech and now decorates the White House.

Invitation

It is time that the invitation is extended to all of our nation
To work as one people, under God, and the eyes of creation
Our rhetoric and decency, must reflect a common cause
As America's families, together, proclaim His living laws
Holding dear our children, as we parent their lives together
Through all of the stormy times, and the foul whether
As God is embraced, through the hearts of each and everyone
We are guided by the wondrous Spirit, of the Holy One

The inspiring and patriotic poem entitled, "In Iraq," written by Stuart Lovett, was approved
by the Pentagon and sent all U.S. Military serving in Iraq. This was the first time to our
knowledge that a poem was honored, approved by the Pentagon, the Department of
Defense, and distributed to the U.S. Military in this way.

Since the creation of the poem entitled, "In Iraq," Stuart has written a poem entitled, "U.S.
Military Vets" which is now becoming the "Footprints" of the U.S. Military. Stuart has
received praises by veteran's organizations, and several chapters of the U.S. Military Vets
MC.

Stuart has also been interviewed by NBC and ABC News for the poem "In Iraq."

In Iraq

Our troops bravely fight the war, for all our human rights
As the night air in cities of Iraq, are filled with battle lights
Bomber pilots try to create, a safe path for troops on the ground
Silence turns the heart cold, with an abrupt exploding sound
Many of our brave fighting ones have died, to protect, liberate and free
A people that are truly now, brothers and sisters to you and to me
It's the greatest love that a person can give, John 15-13 is the truth
For you that gave up your life, you're in our hearts as the living proof
In service you rise with vision and courage, you mark who we really are
The finest of the red, white and blue, each and every one a rising star

U.S. Military Vets

Men and women who fought
for our country to stand

Many fought in harms way
in the air, at sea and land

Hearts full of pride
with tears for their fallen kin

They walked that special path
where only few have been
